Wow! We can't believe that it is already February and third grade is halfway over! We are so proud of all that you have all accomplished already and we are really excited to see the great learning and creating you do in the next couple of months!

My favorite moment of third grade so far is when we went to Liberty Science Center for our first class trip! I loved riding in the fancy bus and watching Charlotte's Web on the way there. When we were there it was fun to see all the kids exploring different exhibits and I loved watching the movie about Earth on the IMax screen.
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to Ellis Island Day with you! I'm excited to have you learn and explore your own heritage and others. It will be so much fun pretending you are immigrants going through Ellis Island. All the third graders last year loved it!
There are so many moments to choose from but one that was unique and special to me was when we visited the Sunrise Retirement homes to sing carols. Even though we don't all celebrate the same holidays, I loved that all the third graders rallied together to put a wonderful performance for the elderly. They absolutely loved it!
ReplyDeleteI'm really looking forward to seeing everyone's projects for our research units. All the jettersetters have been working so hard in their research clubs that I know there are going to be some amazing ideas shared.
One of my favorite moments was our class trip to the Liberty Science Center. I was so happy I got to spend some time with each of your groups and I enjoyed exploring the exhibits with you. I can't believe how many times some of you went through that touch tunnel!

DeleteMy favorite moment that I remember in third grade so far is when we went to Sunrise Retirement home to sing carols. I really enjoyed singing carols. We had some fun doing that. I am really looking forward to presenting my ultimate trip project. I have been working very hard on my project I even added in some boarder. It took a while to do that.

I love all the moments I had with my class and my teacher but I loved the most is when we went to the Liberty Since Center,because I got to see new things and learn new things too.Also my Mom helped us too,I bonded with my class mates and we saw a movie.Oh yea i remember when Mrs.Jetter went in the Touch Tunnel it was fun to watch,me ans my friend Marsha both got penguins witch I´m working on in reading,so that is my favorite time.(>-<)

ReplyDeleteI loved the liberty science center field trip the cool stair thing was crooked and bendy. In the liberty science center.THE black tunnel was cool
because it was pure black and crooked and you had to use your four senescence's hands,nose {sort-of} ears,and I forget the fourth.
In the all my I am looking forward to college. I really want go to Duke for there basketball And football and lacrosse.

ReplyDeleteI really liked the field trip to the science museum in Newark. But most of all I liked the touch tunnel it was so dark and as soon as you get in there you will bump into the wall.

I loved going to the Liberty Science Center too! There are not many times where we are able to get together as an entire 3rd grade, so it was really fun to spend time with everyone. You are brave going into the touch tunnel because I was way too scared!

ReplyDeleteOne thing i can't wait to do in third grade is our next class trip i'm not sure what it's going to be but i think it will be fun. Our last class trip was so fun, so i think it will be as fun as our last class trip.
I enjoyed doing an experiment with the rocks because it devolve in the vinegar and what was left behind was a crystal it was so cool. what I am looking forward to is going on a field trip because field trips are so fun to go on for me.

Delete1. One of my favorite filed trip is The Liberty Science Center. I loved the touch tunnel because i started touching my Friend's and she was in the tunnel too!! Katie scared our teacher and she screamed in the tunnel. I did some fun stuff and I watch a BIG SCREEN and it had a movie there that i did not know. It was fun there.

I like doing genius hour and doing creative things like youtubing, making models, and doing other fun stuff in genius hour. I love genius hour it is so much fun!!!!!!

My favorite that we did in third grade was the Liberty Science Center too! (a lot of people did that) I loved it because it was my first time going there and it inspired me so much that i want to go back! I was also spending the day with my best friends in the class! My favorite thing at the center was the touch tunnel. I went in it seven or eight times! My second favorite thing there was the sky scraper. It was so high and super scary, but all of my friends did it, so I thought it was fine.

It was so fun And I got to buy a Pen that had a lazzer pen it it A flashlight And when we saw the movie. it was about earth and space In the Imax theater. and when we went to the touch tunnel It was hard getting out we thought we were going the right way but we went back. also I am excied for hen we have the publishing party! IT is going to be the best party!

ReplyDelete1. One of my favorite moments in third grade was a field trip we went to it was called the Liberty Science Center. My favorite part of the Liberty Science Center was the touch tunnel I kept bumping into my friends it was funny. Some of us had to hold on to each other to find our way out(some of us went backwards).

I loved the touch tunnel too and when I went in I was smiling at the red lights because that's were the people could see you on the big screen out of the tunnel.When we went in the touch tunnel some of us were going the wrong way so the people had to tell us that we were going the wrong way.I can't wait till are next field trip to poricy park!

It was my legs going faster it felt like my hart was beating faster a worker pulled a lever down and it went slower it was over but I was happy because I could go have fun

Working with someone makes learning fun.

My most liked moment of third grade was the first day of third grade because I got to meet and make more friends. Like the time I made a friend with Jaime. We now play all the time at recces. We play on the swings, monkey bars,that spiny red thing, You name it!We also have a handshake!

I loved when we had the Halloween party the chocolate balls my mom made were yummy! I am looking forward to the father daughter dance. My dad even made a cotton candy and popcorn stand for the dance! Don´t you just love cotton candy, that sugary and sticky flavor in your mouth?

I also got to get to know Mrs. Dunigan a little more and I love learning with her. Something that I look forward to is the experiments in science. I think its so interesting and I want to learn more. So far in third grade I am having so much fun.

DeleteMy favorite part in third grade was when we went to sing to Sunrise Senior Living! The reason why is because we gave cheer to them! I hope they always remember the cheer that ewe gave them! A another reason is because i love to sing! it was very fun for me. I hope we do it next year! A third reason is because i loved that we got to dress up! It was really fun to glam up myself! I hope that we can do that every day! I would really like to.

ReplyDeleteI would like to visit Ellis Island. I wan to find out the experience that my Great Grandparents had to come to America. I would want to go up to the torch and see a lot of cool stuff. My sister said there was a Gift Shop I would like to get something for my sister and brother.
