Blogging is an excellent way to communicate with others online. A blogger can create a post (what you are reading right now) where they can communicate their thoughts, ideas, talents, and learning with the world! After a blog post is published, other people can read the blog post and they are able to leave comments. This is like having a conversation, but online instead of face to face. Comments should always be kind responses or questions about the topic of the post. This is how digital conversation begins.
This year, you will all become blogging experts! We will first start practicing blogging on our third grade blog. As the year goes on, each and every one of you will create your own individual blog!
